Net Turizm A.S was established in 1974 by gathering about a hundred tourist guides, brought many innovations to the touristic retail sector including the Bazaar 54 brand. In 1977, the company opened the first Bazaar 54 store in Istanbul, in the building number 54 on Nuruosmaniye Street, and offered tourists many services such as ease of payment, delivery to their homes, guarantee certificates of authenticity and return guarantee. It has carried this sales service to a wider geography with its stores as a successful carpet store model. As Net Company Group decided to focus on other activities, it left the touristic retail shopping sector by renting all Bazaar 54 stores to third companies as of 2002.
